Sundays During the School Year at 10:30 a.m.

Godly Play is a Montessori-based method of Christian education and spiritual direction. It invites children to explore their faith through story, wonder, and play. Our trained storytellers guide the children in discovering the richness of Bible stories and liturgical traditions, fostering a deep sense of God's presence in their lives.

What to expect:

• A Warm Welcome: Each session begins with a time of greeting and settling in. Children are encouraged to join our circle and prepare their hearts for the stories and activities ahead.
• Engaging Stories: Our storytellers present Bible stories using beautifully crafted figures and materials, inviting children to enter into the stories imaginatively and reflectively.
• Wondering Questions: After the story, children are invited to wonder together about what they have heard. This open-ended dialogue allows them to explore their thoughts and feelings about the story.
• Creative Response: Children then have the opportunity to respond to the story through art, play, or quiet reflection. This time allows them to internalize the lessons and express their understanding in a personal way.
• Feast: We conclude our time with a simple feast, where children share a snack and enjoy fellowship with one another, reinforcing the sense of community and belonging.
• Dismissal: After Godly Play, we escort the children back to their parents in church before Eucharist.
