The Reverend Canon Lynn Jay uses her experience in education to teach and lead the active St. Stephen's congregation. She attended the California State University at Northridge, earning a BA in Philosophy and Liberal Studies. She holds a K through 12 teaching credential, and taught school for several years.
After attending the Episcopal Theological School in Claremont and the School of Theology, Claremont, she was granted a M.Div. in Theology. She was ordained a Deacon in 1982 and ordained a Priest in 1983.
She served a Curate at St. Andrew & Charles in Granada Hills before becoming Vicar of St. Stephen's in 1985. She is married to David Jay and they are the parents of three grown children.
